Weapons include battleaxes, glaives, hammers, cutlasses, knives, cestuses, slingshots, grenades, and other, more unique weapons. It adds a variety of items and mechanics that are comparable to those from Chocolate Quest. Dungeon Tactics Īnother place with fairly chocolate-like dungeons, although these more in the vein of old Chocolate Quest, what with some procedural generation, and the classic spawner-on-top-of-chest gag. There may already be add-ons out there that add dungeons that are similar in scale to those from Chocolate Quest for this mod, thanks to the tools included in Recurrent Complex. On its own it will also spawn a great number of structures, but most are focused on either being minor details for the world or just small, vanilla-like dungeons. Though it won't give you any non-vanilla loot or enemies, Recurrent Complex does an excellent job at allowing you to create structures, possibly populated with monsters, and giving you the tools to populate the world with them. None of the items are obtainable, everything has development names and textures, the monsters are buggy, and yet through all of this, it still feels unequivocally like a successor to Chocolate Quest. Zelda Mobs Mod for Minecraft 1.11.There's a mod around that adds grappling hooks that work fairly similarly to the old CQ ones, including a bunch of specialized versions, like one that allows you to leap forward by Right-clicking while on the line, and an item that makes blocks repel you, which is easily the most fun movement method ever, provided you can do something about the fall damage. Overall, Zelda Mobs is a great mod that’ll add a bunch of Zelda themed content to your Minecraft experience. The items featured in this mod are a tad bit difficult to acquire but they’re definitely worth it due to how powerful and useful they are. ![]() The mod also features a few items from the Zelda games such as the Master Sword, the Hero Sword, the Hylian Shield and a whole bunch of other useful items. Fighting against each individual mob is a truly unique experience and you’ll have a great time figuring out all their attack patterns and such so that you can take them all down.Īs of right now, the Zelda Mobs mod features Darknut, Gibdo, Bokoblin and Stalchild but more mobs are sure to be added in the near future through updates. Of course, the mobs aren’t exactly identical to how they were in the Zelda games in terms of functionality but they come quite close and this is why they’re a delight to fight against. As engaging as combat is in Minecraft, it can start to feel stale after a while if you’re playing single player and this is mainly because the mobs aren’t all that challenging to fight against once you’ve figured out their attack patterns. Zelda Mobs is an excellent mod that’s great for players who are fans of Zelda and want some extra mobs to fight in Minecraft. ![]()
